It seems Off the Edge magazine was revamped for the December 2009 issue, and about time too. More articles, sleeker graphics (love the pink background for the article titled cosmological pork), a couple of great typographic choices, good articles; December featured Joel S. Kahn (great writer on Malays / Malaysians), and of course Farish A. Noor and UM’s own Azmi Sharom. Price was higher though (RM12), double the original price. I didn’t realise it until the newspaper vendor held my RM10 note and looked expectantly at me for the remaining balance.
Oh, dah naik harga ye?
